The Heritage Blend is created from indigenously developed Robusta stocks that originated almost a century ago. These are the prized Robusta beans that Italian espresso makers use for their 80/20 blends. Moka is a rare Arabica varietal that has been 'rediscovered'. The Highlands Full City Roast Espresso is, in our opinion, one of the finest bold espressos in the world. Nicely dark and just a little bitter, it has the bright tones that are often lacking in a bold espresso. This is a classic Italian approach to espresso using heirloom beans, where the bitter and bold characteristic do not overwhelm the rich body of the blend or wipe out the bright highlights.
